ESP was established by the present directors in early 1994 to offer a comprehensive and reliable service in the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of Electrical Equipment and Cables used in Hazardous Areas.

The company has particular expertise in the repair of Electrical Control and Signalling Equipment, allied to the Mining and Tunnelling industries.

Since it's formation ESP has developed a reputation in the UK and Overseas, for continuous close co-operation with customers/users and consistently high standards of product and service.

BS EN ISO 9002

To assist in achieving this the company operate the Quality Assurance System BS.EN.ISO 9002 :1994 'Quality Systems for Quality Assurance in Production, Installation and Servicing'. Obtained in July, 1998 - Certificate No. 98/5005 from the Health & Safety Executive, and their name has been included in the EECS register of companies of assessed capability.

ESP have also achieved and obtained the EECS Repair Licence - No. 4056 in July, 1998 from the Electrical Equipment Certification Service - Health & Safety Executive having been assessed and found to comply with the requirements of the EECS Repair Licence.

ESP always ensure that its employees have extensive experience in training in repair of hazardous area electrical equipment to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.

i] ESP shall operate and maintain a Quality Management System which meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 9002 and EECS Quality Assessment Schedule for the Overhaul of Certified Products.

ii] All employees are partners in the Quality Assurance System and recognise their personal contribution to the achievement of the company's business goals.

iii] ESP shall promote a work culture based on prevention NOT detection.

iv] We shall establish effective methods to monitor customer satisfaction
